7 Things that Restored my Faith in Humanity
During times of crisis, it is easy to be overcome by fear, anxiety, isolation, and believe that there is more darkness than light and love in the world. In moments like this, it is all the more important to highlight the good of humanity in light of this time of fear. That we as humans do not give in to the darkness that surrounds but we continue to live out of love, not fear. Here are some stories from around the world that show just how humanity has responded with hope and love in the wake of this COVID-19 pandemic.
In moments of darkness we do not succumb to the fear but see an even greater opportunity to bring hope and love. Why do these stories bring such peace to us? Perhaps because it shows the goodness in us as humans. That we do not turn to ourselves and become more selfish during this time but that we can become all the more selfless. We can become united from this isolation, and become all the more connected with each other. Regardless of race, gender, religion, or circumstance, we are all in this together, and we can get through this TOGETHER. Not alone. We can be in isolation without letting ourselves be isolated from one another.
